(2026)Professional Financial Administration for Self-Managing LandlordsModern tenancy administration involves far more than simply receiving rent payments.
Professional letting agents undertake ongoing responsibilities relating to rent demands, payment monitoring, financial administration, landlord reporting, arrears monitoring, record keeping, and communication.
Our Rent Demand & Administration Service is designed for landlords who wish to retain responsibility for the day-to-day management of their property whilst outsourcing the financial administration associated with rent payments.
Our intention is not to create hidden charges or unnecessary administration costs, but to provide a transparent, sustainable and professionally managed financial administration service. All fees shown below are inclusive of VAT.

Working in Partnership

Successful tenancy administration relies upon constructive collaboration between landlord, tenant and agent.

Monthly Administration Fee

Rent Demand & Administration Service

6%–10% of the contractual monthly rent

(subject to a minimum monthly fee)

Suggested Minimum Monthly Fee

£60–£90 per calendar month inclusive of VAT.

Fee Basis

The Monthly Administration Fee is charged for the provision of ongoing rent demand, payment monitoring, accounting, reporting, communication, arrears monitoring and financial administration services.

The fee is calculated by reference to the contractual rent due under the tenancy agreement or occupation contract and is not dependent upon successful receipt of all rent demanded.

The administrative responsibilities undertaken by the agent continue throughout periods of delayed payment, partial payment, arrears, dispute or tenant default and may increase during such periods.

Accordingly, the Monthly Administration Fee remains payable throughout the period of instruction based upon the contractual rent due under the tenancy agreement or occupation contract.

The service does not guarantee rent recovery, tenant payment or successful enforcement. Responsibility for payment remains with the tenant under the tenancy agreement or occupation contract.

Transparency & Best Practice

We believe agency services should be:

  • Transparent.

  • Clearly explained.

  • Professionally delivered.

  • Commercially sustainable.

  • Fairly structured.

Many periods of increased administrative workload occur during:

  • delayed payments,

  • rent arrears,

  • payment disputes,

  • legal proceedings,

  • and enforcement activity.

This fee structure reflects the ongoing financial administration, communication, monitoring and reporting responsibilities undertaken throughout these periods.

Our intention is not to create hidden charges or unfair penalties, but to provide a clear and sustainable framework for professional tenancy administration services.

Important Notes

  • Certain specialist services may require a bespoke quotation.

  • Full terms are contained within the separate Agency Terms of Business document.
